Jim Stewart has earned a reputation for creating headshots that work.  His primary goal is to help actors get shots that instantly catch attention.   Jim approaches headshots much like filming a close-up.   Subtlety and simplicity are the hallmarks of his headshot style.   Nothing should detract from you.  It is about you - your essence.    It's a lot about the eyes.  He shoots in a very relaxed atmosphere (both inside and out) using natural light almost exclusively.  He doesn't count exposures or minutes.  He does not do "assembly line" headshots and never works with more than one person a day.  Jim believes creating your headshot should be a creative process - a collaboration.
